Alderperson Micah LaDousa

Micah LaDousa is currently serving his first term on the Fitchburg City Council (2025–2027) and has lived in Fitchburg since 2018, after spending eight years in nearby Southwest Madison. With over two decades of professional experience in healthcare IT, Micah began his career as an analyst and supervisor at institutions such as UW Health, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2013, he and his wife Aimee co-founded an independent consulting firm, working with hospitals across the country until 2020. He is now a founding partner and CTO of Wellconnex, a company focused on population health management solutions for healthcare organizations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Certificate in Integrated Liberal Studies from UW–Madison.

Outside of the elected office, Micah is actively engaged in the community. He serves on the Governing Council of Core Knowledge Charter School, volunteers as a tax preparer at the UW-Extension VITA site, and has worked as a poll worker in Fitchburg. On the council, he currently serves on the Finance, Agriculture & Rural Affairs, and Tree Committees, and previously spent three years as a citizen member of the Transportation and Transit Commission. Micah lives in Fitchburg with his wife Aimee, their daughter Lyra, and their corgi Waffles. He enjoys Fitchburg’s strong sense of community, the Capital City Trail, and exploring the City’s playgrounds with his daughter. His hobbies include traveling, playing softball and basketball, hiking (with over 300 miles completed on the Ice Age Trail), reading, board games, and playing euchre.
