Gabriella Gerhardt, currently serving her third term on the Fitchburg City Council, brings six years of dedicated service to her role. With a decade of residency in Fitchburg, Gabriella has become an integral part of the community. Professionally, she serves as the Vice President of Development at Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, demonstrating her commitment to affordable housing and community development.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Gabriella is actively involved in volunteer work as a Girl Scout Leader, fostering leadership skills and community engagement among young girls. Family-oriented with her husband Patrick, Gabriella holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Tulane University. She cherishes the sense of community in Fitchburg, particularly the camaraderie with her neighbors. In her leisure time, Gabriella enjoys a variety of hobbies including four-leaf clover hunting, knitting, scuba diving, rock climbing, and skiing.
Gabriella was elected Council President in April 2025 and currently serves on Finance Committee (Chair), Plan Commission, Housing Advisory, and Transportation and Transit Committee. In past years she served on Personnel (Chair), Resource Conservation Commission, and Tree Advisory. Her service reflects her dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Fitchburg.
