The City of Fitchburg Water Utility needs your help! Please let us know what your water service line is made of!
As part of the EPA’s Federal Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), the City of Fitchburg Water Utility is required to complete a Service Line Materials Inventory of what the pipes in our water system are made of. Please help us by identifying the material of your water service line. Letters were mailed to every single family residence with a service line for which the material has not been identified. If you have not received any letters regarding this project, it likely means the City has already identified the material of your service line. Please contact the City if you would like to know what information we have about your water service line.
Please use this form to let us know your address and what material your service line is made of. The video below can help you find your water service line and identify the material. Note: To date, the City has not identified any lead service lines.
If you have any questions or comments about this important project, please reach out to us at chelsea.wilson@fitchburgwi.gov or by phone at (608) 270-4264. City staff are available to visit your home to help you find and identify your water service line.
