The City of Fitchburg has exciting seasonal positions available for individuals looking for limited term employment and/or summer work. We begin recruiting for most seasonal positions in February for opportunities that start in May and June. Positions are typically available in the following areas:
- Park Maintenance
- Utility Maintenance
- Library Outreach Assistants
- Recreational Programming (Tennis Instructors, Program Assistants and a Program Coordinator)
- Planning Intern
- Forestry Intern
- Engineering Interns
