To schedule an inspection with the City of Fitchburg Building Inspection Department, please call 608-270-4240.
We require at least 24 hours notice. Inspections can be done Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 3:30pm and Friday, 8:30am - 1:30pm.
If you end up having to leave a message, please include the location of the inspection, the time you are requesting and your phone number in your voicemail.
Inspectors will make every attempt to inspect at the time requested, however if they are unable to inspect when requested, someone from our staff will attempt to contact you.
